For those of you who are unfamiliar with air mattresses, these products are very handy to have if you unexpected visitors arrive at your house. The great thing about air mattresses is that they can be easily stored away and inflated within minutes.
So with that being said, we are very keen to see how well the Embark Air Mattress performs.

The Air Mattress
When I was researching this product I couldn’t find too much information on it. Regardless though, I will still give you as much information as I can!
The first thing I want to mention is that Embark Inflatable Air Bed is not self-inflatable, which means that you will have to pump on the mattress yourself. I should also mention that this mattress DOES NOT come with an air pump.
This is important to know as you will need to supply your own air pump to inflate the mattress. If you do not have one laying around the house then you will probably have to go and buy one yourself. Air pumps are generally pretty inexpensive, so hopefully you can look past this.
Once you have got an air pump it does not take long to inflate the mattress. In fact, it takes less than 4 minutes before the mattress is completely inflated and ready for you to sleep on.
Deflating the mattress is even quicker!
When you have finished using the mattress then you will want to deflate it so you can roll it up and store it away. It takes around 1 minute for the mattress to be completely deflated, which means you can spend less time packing up the mattress, and more time doing the things you love!
The size of the mattress, when packed up, is 12.4 x 15 x 7.3 inches, which is small enough to store anywhere you want.
The next thing I want to mention is that the Embark Air Mattress has a coil beam structure, which plays a role in the support and durability of the mattress while you are sleeping on it.
This 16-inch inflatable mattress is tall enough to not cause you any inconvenience getting down on it. It doesn’t matter what age you are, you will definitely be able to make use of the Embark Air Mattress.
Unfortunately, this mattress only comes in 1 size, which is Queen… so you don’t have that many options when you buy this product.
The last thing that I want to mention is that the mattress is constructed from rust-resistant and waterproof material, which makes it perfect for both indoor and outdoor use. If you plan on going camping then you will find this mattress very handy to take along with you.

So with that being said, what do these customers think of the Embark Air Mattress?
Well… it seems like you will either love or hate this mattress according to the reviews that I have seen. A handful of customers have stated that the product was low-quality and got punctured pretty easily.
Judging by the low price of the Embark Air Mattress this does not really come as a surprise to me.
In addition to this, several customers also mentioned that the included repair kit did not work at fixing the puncture. As with all inflatable products you should be very careful with how you treat them and what surface you place them on (especially if the material of the mattress is not very good!).
Aside from these negative reviews, there were also a handful of positive ones too.
These happy customers commented on how comfortable the mattress was and how much they liked its height.
This is a product where I would suggest that you take a look at what the customers online are saying about it. It will give you a good indication of whether you should bother purchasing the product or not.
Final Thoughts
I have pretty mixed opinions about the Embark Air Mattress.
It has the potential to be a really good mattress, but it just falls short in a few aspects.
The first thing I want to point out is that it is a very budget-friendly air bed, but does that mean much when the quality of the product is diminished?
I personally don’t think so…
If you are on the market for a very basic inflatable mattress, then I would have no problem recommending the Embark Air Mattress. In saying that though, just don’t expect it to hold up for a considerable amount of time as the quality of the product is pretty low.
Quite a few customers online have torn their mattress due to the quality of the product. When you purchase the product you get a repair patch, but I am not too sure how helpful that will be if the puncture is quite big.
