Noah is the name of the co-founder’s son, which gave rise to the brand name that we know of today. I’m not sure if this was intentional, but Noah also means “to comfort,” which may have been another reason why they decided on using that particular name.

What Is the Mattress Made Of?
The Noa mattress uses premium materials that are REACH certified. This means they are free of unwanted chemicals/substances, and also adhere to only the highest standards of quality.
The first layer of the mattress is made of 85% open-cell natural latex, which I must say feels very comfortable and has just the right amount of bounce to it. This layer is also OEKO TEX® certified.
The second layer is composed of gel infused memory foam, which provides a tremendous amount of pressure relief, while not retaining any heat from your body. This layer can adapt to the shape your body – no matter what sleeping position you are in! A lot of the comfort can be credited towards the unique cooling foam technology used in the design.
The third layer features thick-gauge pocket springs that provide a high amount of durability and support to the body. Additionally, the responsive pocket springs also assist with proper body alignment and airflow.
The last thing we have to mention is the mattress cover itself, which is a nice fabric-blend of cotton and polyester. The cover not only feels great, but it also has hypoallergenic and anti-bacterial/dust mite properties to it.
