When I cuddle up with my Pandalife pillow it doesn’t take me long to envision a soft, cuddly fluffy bear leisurely lounging in a bamboo forest…and I start drifting off into a sweet dream to join that bear!
I’m telling you, it all starts with the moment your head hits your pillow….

That’s something that will genuinely make you sleep easier at night.
The Pillow
Now for the skinny, obviously people are all unique and although many of us are similar in many ways, we are all slightly different. Due to the nature of foam, not every single pillow is an exact duplicate of another. When it comes to stuffing pillows with something as variable as foam pieces and particles there is sure to be some inconsistency from pillow to pillow within the same brand. I have discovered that there can be slight variations between a Pandalife pillow you encounter at a hotel or a friends house and your own.
Since these pillows are each unique to some degree it is possible that you might experience one that maybe isn’t exactly perfect for you, that you have purchased from a particular location, but you find another that is outstandingly fabulous from a different distributor such as Amazon or Costco. There also seems to be some discourse in the inconsistency of the dimensional sizes compared to conventional pillows and cases. Some conventional pillow cases may be smaller and unable to properly accommodate the loft of the Pandalife pillows.
A noticeable thing that appeared to be missing from the pillow was a label with care instructions. This leaves it up in the air for me to figure out what the appropriate method of cleaning should be, considering the materials used to build this pillow. Memory foam is a relatively new substance on the market with which many of us consumers are not yet familiar. There isn’t a great deal of widely available information on cleaning and care of memory foam. This instruction is ultimately lacking in most advertising for the items made of memory foam.
This leaves cleaning as an experiment with possible disastrous outcomes depending on the method chosen to complete that task. Can it get wet? Should it be dry cleaned? Neither? Either? This is important information to most individuals as cleaning is an essential protocol for bedding and these pertinent instructions seem to be lacking both in the packaging and on the Pandalife pillow.
Cost
Let’s also discuss the cost. Although it is a great value for the price, there are going to be a portion of thrifty households who will find the investment prohibitive to their minimalist budget for a pillow. However, I personally find that when it comes to long-term use, items that are not routinely and frequently replaced, choosing better quality products work out to be the wisest investments, as their cost is divided over a longer length of use time for the life of the product.
Memory Foam
Another, maybe not so obvious thing to take into consideration for sensitive individuals is the memory foam contents itself. There are some individuals who find the initial odour of the foam to be offensive when it first comes out of the packaging. Although there are those who notice no odour at all, others find it quite uncomfortable until the pillow has had time to properly air out. This occurs quite quickly however and dissipates within a day or two.
What Do Customers Online Think?
Some consumers who have used conventional pillows for an extended period of time and have adjusted to “flat pillow syndrome” may find that the “lofty loftiness” of the Panda life pillows takes some adjustment time before becoming completely comfortable.

Most side sleepers, like myself, personally love the loft and firmness of the pillow. Often side sleepers find themselves having to use multiple pillows to experience the loft they need when using conventional pillows, that slide this way and that during the night. The loft of Pandalife pillows solves that nightly rodeo of wrangling multiple pillows back into place, as only one single pillow is needed to provide adequate loft.
One of the most coveted Pandalife pillow products that everybody seems to love and continues to hold in popularity is the cooling covers that come on some of the pillows. The drawback is not with the product itself, but with the availability. It seems that the supply cannot keep up with the demand, leaving many would be consumers disappointed. Many customers are currently wondering where and when they might be able to once again purchase them. The company has expanded, but not fast enough to meet demand. This has created some customer frustration. C’mon Pandalife! We want cooling covers!
Final Thoughts
I celebrate the decision made by Pandalife to offer its pillows in local stores and also make it available over the internet. Sometimes folks just prefer to purchase Pandalife products from their favorite retailer while others, like me, prefer to shop online and have it delivered to their door. For consumers who prefer not to go out into the public due to PTSD, anxiety and other physical disabilities, and for busy, working moms and dads, being able to order online and have it delivered removes many barriers and creates access to great home products like these pillows.
