Dormeo is a company that has been involved in the development of innovative sleep solutions for over 15 years now. They produce a variety of different products such as beds, mattresses, and mattress toppers.

I am super excited to finally get my hands on this thing. I have heard a tonne of things about this topper, one of them being that the product uses award-winning aerospace technology.

So with that being said, I hope the topper can live up to my expectations!

So… what are my first impressions of the product?

Straight out of the box I can already tell that I am going to enjoy trying out this topper. The material used in the construction of the topper feels soft and buoyant when pressed down. It should come as no surprise that this is a sign of a good-quality topper.

The Body Zone is the budget-friendly Octaspring mattress topper. There are currently two Octaspring products, one is their classic mattress topper, and the other is the Body Zone. If you are someone who is not looking to spend an arm and a leg on a topper then this is definitely the one you should be looking at.

Much like the Octaspring Classic Mattress Topper, the Body Zone is also built using Octaspring® technology.

Let’s go ahead and highlight some of the features of this technology.

Octaspring® Technology

One of the great and unique things about the Body Zone is that it is composed of a whole heap of breathable Octaspring® foam springs. In fact, I think there is at least a few hundred of these foam springs inside the topper.

Octaspring’s take the support of a pocket spring and the comfort of memory foam and combines them to produce an amazing topper that will help you get a good night’s sleep.

What makes these foam springs so special is that they help make the mattress incredibly breathable, and I don’t say that lightly either.

The spring foams make the topper 8x more breathable compared to most traditional memory foam toppers. This technology helps solve the annoying problem of overheating that is found in some mattress toppers.

So with that being said, if you are looking for a very breathable mattress topper, then look no further than the Body Zone!

5 Body Zones

Just as the name of the topper suggests, the product features several ‘body zones.’ These body zones are there to provide different levels of firmness to different parts of the body.

In total there are 5 different body zones found inside the mattress topper. three of these body zones are firm, while the other two are much softer.

These body zones will help ensure that your head, shoulders, back, hips, and legs all have the individual levels of comfort and support they need to give you a good night’s sleep.

Removable Cover

The Body Zone features an Italian-designed removable cover that allows air to circulate incredibly well throughout the topper.

Washing the cover is incredibly easy. In fact, it is so easy that even you Dad’s out there will be able to wash it (only joking of course!).

Simply remove the cover from around the mattress topper and place it in the wash and run it at 30°C. It doesn’t get much simpler than that, does it?

Customer Satisfaction

On the Dormeo website, the company claims to have run several independent tests to see what people think about the Octaspring® in comparison to their own bed.

I am sure Dormeo were happy when they were told that 8 out of 10 people preferred the feel of the Octaspring® compared to their own mattress. This just goes to show how much value their mattresses can provide to the people using them.

Let me start off by saying that I really like the innovative design of the Dormeo Octaspring Body Zone Mattress Topper. There is no doubt in my mind that they have tried to push the boundaries when it comes to conventional toppers.

So with that being said, does this innovation make it a good topper?

In my opinion, yes. If you are after a topper that is incredibly cooling then you would benefit a lot from the Dream Zone. In addition to this, the Dream Zone can help to transform your existing mattress into a luxury 5-star sleep experience.
